If you have a conversion kit or dedicated upper that will accept the TACCOM kit... DO IT!   I took my new build to the range yesterday, and the OEM pin in the CMMG bolt was denting the heck out of the cases on my ammo but not firing.  Replaced the pin in the bolt last night the TACCOM one and today, no issues.   Only ran 30 or so rounds through it, but every round functioned correctly.

Thanks for the great stuff, Tim!

Will the kit work with an older Spike's dedicated upper? (ordered in June 2009)

The notch for the retainer pin is in the wrong place for the roll pin. Tried this with one of my
Spike's bolts before the holidays. No Worky.

So nothing in this kit will work with a Spike's upper, correct?

If so, time to get a CMMG dedicated upper

Guys have ground the notch on the firing pin to fit the Spikes from what I understand.
The extractor should work. The pressure plug will definetly work.

Does this kit work with the TacSol uppers?  I have an older bolt if it makes a difference.

Just got mine in the mail last night. I'll be installing it this weekend. When I get to the range I'll post an update on how it fares.

I took pictures of several cases to show here. I didn't have to use any of the shims with my Stainless Steel CMMG Bolt, the length
measured perfect to the bolt face. I do suggest you measure and use shims as necessary. Because it fit this one bolt doesn't mean it will work with every one. Besides the check has instructions and takes seconds to accomplish...

This TACCOM3G Firing Pin insures good solid primer hits....

The Extractor and Buffer Plug are Awesome...

Interested as well. But have the Tac Sol upper.

The Tac Sol is not the same as Spikes and will work? Or will not work?

question,

what hammer/trigger springs are you using?  standard or reduced power?

I'm finishing building my dedicated upper now, I ordered a TACCOM 7" and without hesitation ordered the reliability kit with all the reviews I've seen on here
