TAP is TAP.  If the loading on the boxs is the same, 223 75gr BTHP for example, then they are all the same reguardless  of what color  box they come in or what acronym is on the outside.  Some have brass cases and others have nickel.

TAP-FPD is marketed to civilians and is .223 pressure TAP-FPD
TAP is marketed to Law Enforcement and comes in 5.56 pressure TAP 5.56

Appears they also make the TAP (non "FPD") in .223 Link which appear to be same as the "FPD" but with more options.  The 75g appears identical (same velocity, ballistic coeficient, cross sectional density etc) between the TAP and the TAP-FPD.  The 55g TAP-FPD looks pretty much the same as the TAP 55g Urban (same ballistic coeficient, same velocity etc)

Main thing is the TAP (non-FPD) is harder to find as they market it for LE, but you can get it in 5.56.

Thank you all.  I should have purchased those ammo that went on sale with TAP.  But I will keep my eye open for TAP 5.56 which I think is better.
