| Just got some 60gr TAP from a buddy for Xmas. How is it for home defense compared to the heavier TAP stuff? Better than Xm193? |

Is it 60gr Barrier or 60gr with polymer tip? If it's barrier than most likely not a good load for HD. The 60gr polymer Tip performs just about the same as 55gr TAP except it has a little less velocity and penetrates about 15% more. I'm not exactly sure how it compares to XM193 but I wouldn't have any problems using it. |
