I am looking at putting together another upper on a Spikes Lower build. I have been using YHM TJ handgaurds and decided to try a keymod on this build. I have been looking at MI, BCM, Noveske, etc... But I ran across this one by accident. Looks like it is only sold by CTD or TBRC/Shield Tactical.

I really do like the looks of the MI keymod. But I have been uneasy with their barrel nut and attachment design. Always feel it can slip. The feeling is based on nothing other than looks and I am sure there is no design issue with as many as they pump out. If there were, I am sure they would have changed the design.
They have one of the better looking ones out there, not to make it sound like looks are the only thing. |
