I purchased a Streamlight TRL-2 from a online dealer that I have dealt with before and had good results. I emailed the dealer and asked if the TLR-2 was the new light with the C4 LED Tech and the replied back that it was. HOWEVER, when I received the packaged today there is no mention of C4 LED Technology on the box, the box states 80 Lumens, etc.
HOWEVER again, the box does have a sticker on the front of it stating 2x brighter and the serial number on the TLR-2 is C4-120XXX which leads me to believe that this might be the C4 LED light in the old packaging that Streamlight had left over. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

The C4 serial number is the give away. I have both the C4 and non C4. The C4 is brighter with more of a pinkish colored spot compared to the blueish non C4. Yeah, it was one of the first C4s put out and was put into a older box for cost cutting measures. |
