First of all I would like to say thanks to everyone on this forum and in the AR-15 community. Using the tutorials on this website I have built my first AR using the M4 kit from Del Ton. I chose the RRA two stage trigger and YHM flip up front sight gas block and YHM flip up rear sight. I have not gotten to the range yet to shoot it but I went through all the safety tests and it works perfectly. It was really a whole lot easier than I expected, when I first read through the tutorials. When you actually have everything in front of you it is not nearly as intimidating. Now on to the real purpose of this post. Has anyone here used the Tactical Night Vision Company RDP-II red dot sight as a primary sight rather than mounted on a scope? I ran a search on the forum and couldn’t find anything. I have been looking at different red dot sights and this one seems to be a good value, but I wondered if anyone here has used it as a primary sight. Is it to small? It is hard to tell from the pictures. Let me know what you think. |
