| How is the quality of TPS? I'm looking to use some of their rings for my flattop with an M2 IOR 4x24. Are there better options? |

Im leaning towards the one piece mount for my scope, I have a set of TPS rings but even a Armalite mount will get you a better check weld and eye relief at almost the same cost. Im not sure if the one piece mounts should be lapped like a set of rings but I like the idea of not putting any shear loading on a expensive scope and being able to remove the mount to clean the rifle if needed (that is if you use the larue.) $200 for a scope mount seems crazy but I dont want to mount my $500 scope in a set of rings might not be straight and you cant remove them without re-zeroing. |

TPS rings are VERY good. I like the fact they don't leave ring marks on my scope tubes. http://www.tacticalprecision.com/TSR%20Scope%20Rings.htm I had some medium TPS TSR rings on a Nikon scope. Cheek weld sucked so I bought some low rings. Took the rings off to replace....zero ring marks. Price is right too.   This is the Nikon with medium TSR rings. |
