Just curious if the installation of the Taccom plug and firing pin has allowed those that have them to use lighter hammer and trigger springs to improve the trigger pull on their .22 caliber rifles?

Well I guess no one owns a Taccom reliability kit.

I couldn't answer because I don't use lighter springs.
Tim may have an answer for you.

For the most part yes......you can typically go with a lighter trigger. HOW MUCH lighter is going to depend on your bolts head space. If you have a head space of .045/.050, you should be able to go down to 3.5# and have a very reliable trigger. As you head space increases though.....the ability to use a lighter trigger may diminish. The good news is that to a point you can correct the headspace by removing mat'l off the very front of your bolt......of course, doing something like that MAY void your product's warranty.

FYI....SAAMI spec for semi auto bolt head space is .045/.050

I had JP yellow springs to lighten the pull.
Then the miss fires occured...
a lot of ftf.

Went back to standard power....no issues.

In the end. I really didn't need that light of a trigger.
Because i was plinking and not trying
to go thru the same hole

Thank you for your replies. I am going to give it a try when I get the kit and see what I can do. A trigger of 3 to 3 1/2 lbs. would be my goal.
