| Did ya'll read about these, what do ya think? Look at Bravocompany, magazines and accessories....3/4 of the way down the page. |

On the fourth page with plenty 'o' drama between manufacturers. I guess nobody looks past the first page or searches http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=3&f=17&t=408793 |

Just placed a backorder for these Mags from Harris Tactical Online
I can't wait for the end of January! That's when they are ETA'd. Had some MagPul's on order but Cxl'd those; taking way too long. These things aren't cheap but think they will be worth the $. Anyone know when the FN SCAR will be released to the Public and where you can get one? Thanks and Happy 2009 soon! |

Anyone know when the FN SCAR will be released to the Public and where you can get one? Thanks and Happy 2009 soon! Apparently they are available for purchase/backorder. The price is pretty hefty though, but if you want one better git in soon. http://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2008/12/03/civilian-fn-scar-16s-pricing/ MSRP of $2,696.56.

They will also be available at Anchor Armament Tango down mags
These are worth looking at. I'm a bit concerned with the price, but think they should be a quality option. Right now we need all the options we can get. |

$2700 for the FN SCAR? Wow! The Weapon has a lot of research and development behind it but...$2700, plus S&I/transfer fees is a killer. I'd rather buy a Barrett .50 M82A1 if I am giving a left leg. I will stick with my LMT MRP.
These TD ARC Mags are pricey but I can deal with $25 a pop. Just pre-ordered 20 more of black and flat dark earth Tango Down ARC 30 from Harris Tactical. I have a feeling that these will be scarce in 2009, after the SHOT Show and when they become even more "common knowledge." |

We took a good look at these mags while at SHOT. These are a quality product. We will be stocking them and will receive them from the 1st run.
Since you cannot take them apart, I asked them how are they cleaned. They said to use a bucket of soapy water and a brush . They have a special brush, but a small bottle brush would probably work also. If you were cleaning mulitple mags, this would be much faster than disassembling multiple mags and then cleaning all the parts. Plus, with Tango Down's reputation, I expect good support and supply. |

So, if you want to change out the mag springs after 5 years of hard use you are out of luck? ![]() You guys keep forgetting that magazines are expendable. The military has no intentions of using a magazine for 5 hard years. But they are selling these to civilians, who tend to hang onto such things for decades. Are they looking at setting up some aftermarket accessories for them (well, for things other than springs or followers |
