I bought this sling mount and went to install and it doesn't tighten down all the way like in the pic that comes with it or in any other pic online. It says that it fits any M4 collapsible stock carbine but, I was wondering if the buffer tube matters if it is commercial or mil-spec? I can't find anything anywhere regarding this so any help would be appreciated.  Thanks

There will be a slight gap between the top band and the lower piece, the one with the holes in it. You need to adjust one screw on one side, then the screw on the other side to get the gap even. Once you tighten it down it will not move. There may be a slight gap between the unit and the lower receiver end plate.

They only make one size. The difference between the two tube sizes should not make very much difference.

I'm trying to get them on here.  I also spoke to another member on here that had one and he said that his was mounted on a mil-spec buffer tube and the two pieces snugged down to each other all the way no problem.  I'm thinking that they say "any collapsible stock" because it will work but, I don't like the gap in between, it looks like it isn't attached all the way.
