| Hey guys, looking for some suggestions here. I've got an M951 with the tapeswitch mounted to my VFG. I cleaned everything (VFG & tapeswitch) up with alcohol before mounting the 3M Velcro to my VFG & tapeswitch but the tapeswitch doesn't want to stay stuck to the 3M material. How do you guys fix this? Electrical tape/inner tube? |

I'm kind of wondering the same thing. I have the exact same light and I just used electrical tape for now, but I don't know if this will eventually turn into a messy glob of glue or not.

Ditch the electrical tape and use a bicycle innertube stretched over the grip and tape switch. This is a method that alot of socom guys are using over in the sandbox. No sticky mess and u can remove it when u need to. Experiment with the right size innertube for the best fit.

Magpul makes a rail mounted panel that holds the switch on, but you'd have to have the switch on your rail instead of grip.

I've just picked up an intertube from my local bike shop for my Knight's VFG. It worked great AND the bike shop gave me the tube for free. I cut it in to 3" sections and made about twenty grip covers. Gave them to the guys at work. John |
