Range this Sunday, I have a wide variety of ammo. Going to zero the new AP PRO. Also will be using a Nikon ProStaff 4-16x.

I'll first zero the PRO at 50 yds.with FBIT3, but after that, pick three from amongst the following that you'd like to see pics of the groups. I won't try my horde of LC M193, as I already know how well my rifle shoots the stuff.

Stag Model 2, Aimpoint PRO, Nikon ProStaff.. blah blah..

I have other stuff, but small amounts. Ask if there's a load I may have you'd like to see.

I'm no marksman, but I'll post pics of what I can do with the rifle and the loads.

No preferences, eh?  LOL

Okay, here are the only two targets I kept. Got the Aimpoint zeroed at 25 yds then shot these at 100 yds. 8-10 mph steady breeze from right to left.

The Prvi M193 was much more consistent in POI than the PMC Bronze stuff.

Neither of these is anything really good, but for me with a new red-dot at 100 yds I'm happy

no magnification at a 100 yards, that's pretty good. at that point the dot is almost as big as the target.

I love my aimpoint, it's very true and very easy to sight in.

And I suppose there's a lesson in those targets for the folks asking about different loads as well.

Both 55 gr., the PMC is a .223 loading, the Prvi a 5.56.

Same rifle, optic, range, conditions.

Yet note how the Prvi stings horizontally, the PMC vertically.

You just never can tell until you fire the stuff.

Kool test as I need to try this, but with a 14.5 1:7.

I usually sight in my Aimpoints at 50 yards. That works out pretty close at 25 and 100 yards. I dial down the dot pretty fine and have no trouble with good groups at 100 yards and no magnification,
