Can anyone tell me if this is a PMag in the pics on this thread?

It's the one on the DD, and I like how the texture matches the rail guards.
I've done some searching around and am going to put a DD Omega rail on my Bushy carbine, and I like the looks of the mag with those rail guards.  I've got a few of the standard 30 round Pmags now, but if I could find these, I'm not opposed to buying a few more...:)
Thanks
Mike

Here is a link where you can get them.. They are high..

Rainier Arms Enhanced Magizine Grip

You can go to home depot or lowes and get a roll of  3M Grip tape for a lot less

Thanks for the link.  In looking at it, I thought it was molded that way, to match the Magpul XT rail covers.  I agree though, a roll of the 3M grip tape will do alot more mags for less money.  I'm going to have to give that a shot, as I like the look.
Thanks again,
Mike

Yeah the EMG's texture matches the TD rail panels really well. And for the record that is my pic and DD rifle.

Below is another PMAG that I textured using a soldering iron and a special tip. Unlike the EMG's in the original pic, the texture is now part of the mag body itself.

Here is another I did testing the texture on colored PMAGS

They actually match the Tango Down covers better than the Magpul covers.

Never underestimate the power of a soldering iron.

I've seen Glock grips stipled with a soldering iron - it was well done.  Follow your wife to the crafts store one day and look for "wood burner" tips, that's what chicks call a glorified soldering iron.  With those tips you can stiple all kinds of cool patterns.

Tape can come off, stipling can't.  If I were to desire added grip I'd be reaching for my soldering iron.

Thanks for all of the tips and ideas.  I wondered how well that tape would stick on the rounded parts of the mag, as it looks like it would want to peel off where the mag curves and the small sides were being pulled against.  I may have to try out the soldering iron idea, as I've got an old iron that's got a shot tip on it that I wouldn't mind getting melted plastic on.   I've also got a couple of other spare tips to fit it and some ABS plastic that I could use to get a rough idea of some sort of "pattern", so to speak. I really like the looks of the texture on the mags in relation to the rail covers, and it should add some function as well.

Yeah I stipple some of my PMAGs with a soldering iron. Looks good and adds a better texture than the stick-on panels. It does take awhile though.

I'm sure someone with a steadier hand and more artistic capabilities could do a better job.
