After being on this forum for several years, all this talk of Colt's and Mil-Spec finally got to me. Now, thanks to all of you, I have to have a Colt. Coincidentally, just in time for Santa! Actually, I won't have it until Santa's been back home at the North Pole for two weeks or so. Guess my Bushmaster/Olympic after a grand total of about 200 rounds will become surplus. Nothing wrong with it, just want a Colt's.

It's a 6721, LE-marked. I won't have it for about two weeks, but here's a link to the Colt page.

What's with 'Kool Aid'??? What does it have to do with my buying a Colt? This is the second reference to it in this thread.

I knew about the Jim Jones thing of course but didn't make the connection. That's right, Colt worship is definitely cultish! I'll take cherry-flavored! My late father-in-law got me started by giving me his father's 1925 Colt Target .22 (pre-Woodsman). You talk about pin-point accuracy - that thing is a squirrel-getter from Hell.

Kind off subject. But I have owned a lot of COLT's Ar15's, .45acp, Revoler's over the year's. Loved them all. What American craftmanship was all about. Tear's my heart out to see what they have become. Still great product's. But it's like Sara Bradey own's the majority in stock or something!
