Its the new m-lok rail panel kit that Griffin Armament came out with. I was on the fence about them when I ordered them but they are actually pretty awesome. They give a good grip, they actually wrap inward at the bottom of the panel and it also comes with either a flat bottom grip or the handstop panel. Great kit for the cost.

Initial configuration: http://i435.photobucket.com/albums/qq76/blackjack272/IMG_0468_zpsxkejvcae.jpg Current configuration. The barrel on this one will be changed out as the gas port is too big. I'm gambling with getting the same one (MSTN S/S intermediate) and a 0.078" gas port, or a DD mid-length CHF/Govt. with a port specced for M855/Mk262.: http://i435.photobucket.com/albums/qq76/blackjack272/IMG_0685_zpsqelch6ej.jpg I do love their scope mounts for serious use: http://i435.photobucket.com/albums/qq76/blackjack272/FullSizeRender%20copy_zpsz91srrej.jpg They hold up to lots of 300 Norma Magnum, 300 Winchester Magnum, and 338 Lapua. The mount pictured has been replaced with a slightly different model. The rifle as pictured has its 6.5 Creedmoor barrel and S/A magazine adapter with .308 magazine in. Enjoy! I will email them and see what they say.
Edited: I told them i had a brand new ta33, he said to get the long. It looks like trijicon changed the width of the newer ones to 1.7. Along with changing to finger adjust knobs with tethered caps and mounts for an rmr. It's good to have a newer version. |
