Without a doubt, the 4 is the best |

And it is kinda different than the barrel nut, as my barrel my doesn't have all sorts of shit attached to it to multiply torsional torque. Ugh if you buy me one I'll try it out |

Ugh if you buy me one I'll try it out Doesn't your handguard attach to your barrel nut? Not only is it another point of failure, but it's most likely applying more torque on your barrel than the URX 4 would. You don't have to like it, but it really is a better rail. If it were inferior I doubt CAG would be using them on their SR-25s |

Wish I had the skills/resources for something like that. I'm talking myself into a 6.8 spc2 12.5 SBR. I've got a Rainier lower already due to a lapse in self control a few weeks ago... My bolt, barrel, and URX 3.1 will end up being the expensive part of the build though.

I have a 20" 308 M5 as well and it's about the only gun left that doesn't wear a KAC URX that I can still change.
I think your picture is going to push me over the top in getting one for it. Now I just have to decide how much coin I want to throw down. Too many decisions. Nice work unclemoak. |
