Heres my Wilson Combat UT 15 topped with a Burris Signature 6-24X44 scopein Warne QD rings(recently traded the scope for a Leupold VXIII 4.5-14X50.

Here is an older-school dedicated prairie dog gun. It has a custom 26" Mark Chanlynn heavy SS fluted barrel chambered in 6x45 (.223 necked up to 6mm). The gas block and free float hand guard were also made by Chanlynn. The DPMS lower has a Chanlynn tuned trigger that is the best I've used. The scope is a Leupold VarX-III 6.5x20. I load with 6mm 85gr Sierra BTHP and 25gr H335 for those 500-1000 yard shots because they better buck the wind we have here in SW Colorado.

Been tweaking this one for a while now. Next up are the JP Handguards and a Magpul PRS stock.

I can't tell in your pic, but is that the LaRue LT-104 SPR or the LT-139 SPR-E? I was going to order my the LT-104 on Monday but wanted to make sure it had the ability to move the scope far enough forward to get the correct eye relief since its a really long scope or if I needed to go to the SPR-E version. Thanks! |
| It is the regular mount NON extended version. I feel that the eye relief is fine though, the scope is centered in the mount with the mount as far forward as it can go without going off the rail. As you can see the scope could be moved forward possibly another inch, but I like it how it is and I also like to keep the scope centered in the mount. I think you will really enjoy the Nikon! |

I have an OD match set from Essential on the way too. I'm thinking of going all green as well with that one. I'll definitely post pics when I get it together. I just hope that it's not going to be too much green. |

Thank you. Hopefully the LaRue mounts are not on too far a back order. I called on Friday and the girl said that the scope mounts were on back-order but she wasn't sure how long and since everyone was at the shot show - all the people who could answer that were gone. Sigh.... I guess the coyotes have another week or two to live :-) |

Here's what I consider my walking varminter. I have a couple of heavy barreled bolt actions, so something light weight and quicker was needed. I ended up with a Model 1 Sales 16" lightweight barreled upper with a free float handguard and pic. gas block. With out the bipod and with a 20 rd mag, it's quite light. Scope is a Burris 3-9x FFII in a Wilson mount. Bushmaster lower with JP trigger (3.5 lbs). Works great on chucks and the occasional coyote. It's pictured with my recently aquired Bushmaster Patrolman. The load I use is 50gr. V-max over a dose of either Benchmark or AA2015.

3 x 9 scope, RRA lightweight 14.7" w/pinned FH. Shoots 55grn Hornady FMJBT w/WC844. Weighs 8.65lbs with 30rds of ammo  3 x 12 scope, RRA 20" HBAR. Shoots 68grn Hornady BTHP w/TAC. Weighs 11.52 lbs with 30rds of ammo.  Both rifles are great shooters. The 20" is more accurate only because the reticle in the scope is thinner allowing for more precise shots. I shoot tennis balls at 300 yds. Hitting them is easy from a good benchrest. |
