I actually had planned to order a White Oak 18" rifle length barrel from Rainier but due to a misprint on their website, they didn't have any in stock. They were really quick to respond to the mix-up. Everything else is pretty run of the mill for a home build: DPMS upper CMMG lower RRA BCG DD Omega X 12.0 rail Magpul everything

Nope. I actually bought the rifle with just a couple rounds on it except for the barrel which has a unknown round count but thought to be under 1k. I took the entire rifle apart and changed amost every part, the upper, lower, barrel and BCG are from the original rifle. I pretty much I rebuilt the entire rifle, everything is torqued to spec, properly aligned, and will shoot sub MOA. Here are 3 I use a lot. Nothing special but all are light and very accurate.
Top one is my night rifle. Inexpensive ATN night scope. Works excellent for predator hunting though. Bushmaster build from many years ago. 16" 1/9 fluted barrel. Timney trigger. Middle one is also an old Bushy build. Will out shoot any of my bolt guns. Bushnell Elite Compact 3x10x40 scope. 24" fluted barrel. Jewell trigger. I won't even claim how many coyotes have fell to this rifle. Not many would believe it. Bottom is my favorite right now. DTech 6mm DTI upper which is a 6.8 case neck sized to 6mm/.243 then fire formed with the shoulder farther forward to increase powder capacity. You can use the first loading to hunt with. Works excellent. Ballistics similar to 22-250 using 55 gr. Krieger fluted stainless barrel. Burris 3x9x42 Ballisti-Plex. Warne rings. Jard trigger in an Anvil Arms lower I had laying around. I know Jard isn't though highly of. I didn't either. Was only going to use it temporarily but much to my surprise it has been so good I think I'm going to just leave it. Will be upgrading that cheap Magpul stock being used soon. Using 75 gr. VMax at about 3200 fps at the moment. Knocks coyotes on their ass. Freaky accurate. 
For long range (and not so light) I use my McMillan .50 BMG with Nightforce NXS 3X15X50 F1 w/3 Badger Ordnance rings. Kidding, haven't killed a coyote with it yet. Have used that .243 to whack a lot of coyotes though. lol!

Here is my AR with a RRA Upper, Superior Arms Lower w/two stage trigger, Yankee Hill Diamond handguard, rail covers, Burris PEPR, Vortex Diamondback 4-12x40mm. I'm looking to sell the Vortex and another scope I have at the moment to replace it with a Vortex Viper HS in the next few weeks. I also have plans to replace the grip and stock eventually but I have other stuff that I want to buy first. It also has an Elusive Wildlife kill light XLR 250 on it in the pictures.

New guy here; thought I'd contribute to this thread. Here's my one-and-only AR-15 at the moment - an Armalite M-15T shown out on the prairies of South Dakota on a recent prairie dog shoot. You can see my Armalite AR-10T in one of the pictures too. They're both set up pretty much the same. Both have Nikon Monarch mildot scopes (4-16x42 with target knobs and a sunshade on the AR-15, 2.5-10x42 on the AR-10) and M-223 mounts, Tubb Precision target grips (recommended if you're looking for a strictly target-shooting grip), RRA winter trigger guards, and Badger Ordnance Gen II tactical latches. The Caldwell brass catcher shown attached to the M-15 worked reasonably well, even on the AR-10.
