I need to grind more on the lower and don't feel like it. 2nd issue is the non-ramped barrel = FMJ only. Had I known that, I wouldn't have bought one. Send the lower out and have it cut. The barrel seems like a small hurdle to correct too… Where there is a will, there is a way. |

Just sayin'... I was wondering about that, and will give it a try. Added a Partisan to my PSA AR9 - no go at this juncture. It dropped into the high shelf lower. Still getting hammer follow. Gonna try some different buffer weights and buffer springs. |

Gonna try some different buffer weights and buffer springs. I am skeptical of hammer follow with a disruptor. The hammer is not released until the bolt tail activates the hammer safety. So, what you are experiencing is very likely a result of bolt bounce that is not settling fast enough. Based on success with my PSA upper/poverty pony lower, I suggest: NOTHING stronger than a Standard Carbine Buffer Spring paired with a heavy (10oz+) with sliding tungsten weights (Note: I expect Tromix's 9mm buffer will run but I have not tried one yet - it's less than 10oz, but not by much and their H3 works a treat.) Ultimately a buffer heavy enough to keep blowback safe that also mitigates bolt bounce should make you smile. Bolt bounce will increase with buffer spring rate so avoid increasing the rate. |

I should've wrote dead trigger / bolt bounce. My Partisans in 5.56 ARs work great with a H3 buffer. If I cant get this 9mm to run, this Partisan will be going into another 5.56 AR. |

I had to go to a FM RMB system, and then change the steel weight to three tungsten 1-1/2 oz. weights to get both my 9mm blowback and my buddy's to run. That is with a Before the change to tungsten weights, I got just what you describe - live round chambered, light firing pin mark on the primer, with dead trigger and hammer down. Make sure you don't have a heavy buffer spring! |

Full size models can have the bolt carrier get stuck behind the hammer on AR FCG lowers (if the hammer isn't rounded OR if you don't use the small buffer tube), but this usually isn't as easy to see in dry fire as the bolt is right on the edge and is usually revealed in live fire. K size models physically do not charge the bolt carrier all the way to the rear unless you take a cleaning rod and push it through the barrel to push the face of the carrier back. Since the reset can be a little further back than the dry fire point, this means you won't feel a full reset during dry fire without doing that. Some hosts are fine and some triggers can alter the exact break point (i.e. Geissele), but it's a common "issue." |

Our standard 3.25" H3 has 4.3oz of sliding weight, but stepping up to our 4" 9mm unit gives you 6.2oz of ass thumping sliding weight to stop 9mm bolt bounce. (9.5oz total weight) I don't think there are any buffers on the market sporting that much sliding weight. That's equal to more that FOUR tungsten weights in a conventional buffer. They are at the plating company now, and should be back for assembly mid-next week. Tony Rumore Tromix |

Tony Rumore Tromix @TonyRumore Never mind- saw in a separate thread that your total mass is like 9.5 oz in your 9mm buffers, just with more moving weight to it than the 10 oz designs. Thought 6.2 was your total weight initially. Probably not any noticeable recoil difference. |

Alternate pitch: sell the stuff and just wait a couple months until the D’s control both the House and Senate… then they proceed ban all manner of FRT anything. Cash out while the getting is good. IMO, it’s the lowest hanging fruit on the antigun tree and they can’t help themselves. That and red flag laws. Wouldn’t be surprised to see them try and reinstate NFA taxes for controlled items too (inflation adjusted). They will spend the next 20 years of election cycles tearing down anything/everything Trump accomplished… his appointees, his legislation, his physical buildings. Everything. Bet. |
