[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Thoughts?

My DD M4 carbine is almost complete.

Thanks to Rainier, G and R Tactical, Bravo Company, and Magpul, It's functional and will get wrung out pretty well tomorrow at the Range.

That sure is purty! Is that a DD upper? I notice it doesn't have that weird front rail.

I usually don't care for anything that isn't all black (I'm speaking of rifles), but I like this one. What sling mount is that?

I'm working on a similar setup. I'm piecing it together buying components when they become available. Mine will sport a 13.8" Troy MRF-RX rail covering a WOA SS 1:7 SPR barrel cut down to 14.5 with a pinned Vortex. LMT BCG. FDE VLTOR clubfoot stock, tango down PG and VG on EA lower (nothing fancy here). Troy BUIS and AIMPOINT sight. I'll go cheap with the light with the VTAC Light Mount & Surefire G2.

It's a DDM4 with the Omega rail swapped out for a DD Lite rail and low profile gas block.

The sling mount is a DD QD receiver plate with a Vltor QD Sling mount.

Nice.

DD makes some great gear and does not get enough credit for it. I choose DD's light mounts over LaRue's every time!
