This is the one I'm considering
Caldwell Ballistic Precision Chronograph Premium Kit My thoughts are that the range of speed it will document will serve my new crossbow as well as my AR Builds. Will probably start reloading this year, so it will help in load development as well |
| I looked at them but know more people that use the one from Competition Electronics. It's simple to use and less than $100 at Amazon. |

buy this one, and in the frequently bought together group in a tripod with a bag... both for sub $100 total I used this combo at the range yesterday. it is everything you need. |

I'm happy with my shooting chrony
http://www.shootingchrony.com/ |
| I've used my trusty Shooting Chrony (Master model) for many years, it works great and has a remote display, no gripes. But technology marches on and now I'm lusting for a new, improved chronograph. I saw one at the range recently that featured a Bluetooth wireless connection to a smart phone. The phone had a proprietary app that collected the shot data, organized it by strings and automatically calculated mean, SD, etc. Much better than writing down the data for each shot and enables the shooter to maintain a consistent hold/position. - CW |
