I have a Bushmaster Predator and I have been tossing around the idea of a muzzle break. When I looked on the BM site it said that it is illegal to thread a post-ban rifle. Then on another part of their site it shows that you can order their V-Match upper with either a crowned or threaded muzzle. Was the info about the post-ban threading just old info? Thanks for your help. |
| Without having seen how it was actually worded, its hard to say. But if you live in SD, you should be ok. Some states still enforce the AWB rules and if you lived in one of the states that did, it would be illegal to have a threaded barrel on anything other than a pre-94 ban rifle. |
| well, the gun is at Bushmaster right now and I was thinking since they have it I may as well have them thread it and install it while they have it on hand. I don't really want one that is pinned because if it effects the accuracy too much I will want to remove it when I am shooting long ranges. |
