I'm threading a post ban barrel for installation of a flash hider. What is the correct amount of threads (length) for installation of a flash hider using the standard 1/2" x 28 die? Thanks

My barrel has .600" of threads. .125" of that is taken up by the washer. Total used threads with my A2 hider is .475"
