I had to bang my AR's buttstock into the ground to get a round that was stuck in the chamber out. Now the latch that extends/collapses my telestock is really loose and rattles. I can't seem to tighten it, there is some sort of pin keeping the screw from tightening. I tried to puch out the pin, but it wouldn't budge. Am I missing something? Thanks in advance!

There should be a roll pin going through the screw and nut.  Should be able to punch that out then tighten the nut.

Any tips for punching it out? I didn't want to force it and break anything.

Is there a cross pin, or is the castle nut just loctite'd in place?

There is a cross pin, I just can't punch it out. I don't want to just bend it and get it stuck in there.

If it was punched in, it will punch back out.
Just remember to use the correct size punch.
