I have a YHM QD suppressor and have two QD mounts, a flash hider and a brake.   The FH can just screw on,but the brake must be timed to where the holes are facing upwards.

They did not come with any spacer or washers, so I am wondering what I should use to mount the brake, as the flat part sits at about 11 o'clock instead of at 6 where it should be when just threaded on?

Have you called YHM about it yet?

I would be tempted to say use a crush washer or a peel washer, but I would NOT if YHM says not to.

Thats what I was thinking, but I was wondering if anyone had any specific info on which one.

Crush washer, it is posted on the YHM website.
One should have come with the brake.

I like using crush washers. They have always indexed my muzzle device perfectly.

Be sure you use some type of barrel vice clamp (not a receiver clamp). You can make one easily using a couple pieces of scrap wood. Works like a charm and will not chew up the barrel.
