I just have the flash hider to put on to finish my ar15, but everytime i put it in on, it comes up crooked or at an angle.  I have a PRI MSTN QC and also a A2 flash hider and for both I am having this problem.  I tried searching here and other ar15/rifle forums but couldn't come up with any answers.  Which also leaves me to believe that I must be doing something very wrong if everyone else can figure it out.  Thanks for the help.

Are you using a peel or crush washer?

Yep, I had to peel one layer at a time off of the peel washer that came with mine. It's time consuming but not overly difficult.

Use a razor blade to peel the individual layers.

I like the crush washers, especially the black ones.

With the A2 it came with a crush washer and the PRI came with peel washers.  The peel washers I was peeling each one away one at a time and still didn't work lol.  I guess ill keep trying at it.

Have you threaded it on without the crush or peel washers to see were you end up if it lands at the same clock position you might be bottoming out before you reach the washers so peeling more off won't help. Try adding

Tighten it up, loosen it, tighten, loosen, tighten, loosen, tighten.  Do this until it indexes how you want it
