| I had ask about timney triggers about a week ago and ordered one. I received it yesterday and installed it which was very easy. I have only dry fired it but it feels fantastic, no creep no overtravel and very crisp. I just wanted to give everyone my opion on this trigger. |

Quoted:
Check for empty and prepare your rifle to fire, take a block of wood and drive your flash hider into it with the safety off. Make sure it doesn't go off. Do this with the butt too. I love Timneys in bolt guns, but I have heard of some issue in the AR. I appreciate the input but I won't be slamming my flash hider into a block of wood anytime soon.. |

Its a combat rifle. |
| I've had great luck out of my Timney Skeletonized 3lb trigger. It's the older one with the name Timney actually etched into the metal and the brighter nickol plated hammer. I've heard the newer triggers have a duller finish and the logo is lasered on. Not that big of a deal but they seem to be cutting corners to save money. I love mine. |

Lacking a safety check, your opinion holds little merit. |
