Timneys are nice, just depends if you want a single stage or two stage. If you can't make up your mind on the Geissele's choices, I'd recommend the SSA or reading their application guide on their website to find the one that suits your needs. Good luck. This. I have both and they are both excellent products. |

That might just take Timney out right there. Figure out what you are looking for, and go from there. The magic "G" makes a variety of fantastic triggers, so does Wilson Combat with their TTU drop in trigger packs. The key is figuring out what you like and need. |

One thing I don't fully understand that I'd like to know more about, it why stop with the SSA for a combat trigger? Why not go lighter with the SSA-E??
People often say the triggers are too light for a certain role. I didn't always consider lighter better, but why would a Trigger be too light for 3 gun or combat? |

I'd imagine for combat if you are running/sliding etc in a gunfight and your weapon isn't in safe because you are in the process of shooting, you dont want to accidentally pull a feather-light trigger. |

Mr. Geissele talks about this himself in the SSA install video on YouTube, he brings up a good point that in a high stress situation a light trigger with ice sickle break (2 stage) is probably not best
