[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Timney trigger question

Does anyone know the difference between the standard three pound Timney trigger and the skelentonized unit? Is the only difference the lightened trigger shoe? If so why is there such a significant price difference?

I don't have a skeltonized unit so I can't really help with a comparison. I have two of the Timiney 4lb triggers and the are both excellent.

They prevent trigger bounce on souped up 1911s, but I don't know if they do a thing on ARs.
