| well guys what do you think the the 4Lbs Timney trigger? if you dont like them what would you get? |
| No experience here with Timney, but I do have a second generation McCormick and a few Jards. With several thousand rounds on the Jards, and only a couple of hundred on the McCormick I have had zero trigger problems. I think all three are in the same general price range. |
| I have recently installed both a Timney and CMC. I have about 500 rounds working with the CMC and about 375 working with the Timney. Both are newer generation models. I use KNS pins on both triggers. The Timney has a bit less take up as in almost none. It is not a trigger you want to use if you are sloppy with trigger discipline. So far I think both are really good triggers. If I have an issue with either I will post the findings. |

I put a 3# Timney in my Bushmaster and it wouldn't reset when released, but would if trigger pulled a 2nd time and then released. Polished the disconnector/hammer mating surfaces very lightly w/fine stone and put a dab of moly grease. Problem solved. Regards, hm |
