Been using a couple for a little over a year. Only occasional use / once a month, nothing hard-core, about 200 rounds or less a session. Kept maintained; never had a issue.
Good trigger; even a buddy bench-rest shooter type thought it was a very good trigger (for a AR). I do not expect it to wear out anytime soon being S-7 tool steel. |

The hammer strike just sounds really weak. I have read anecdotal reports that others have had issues with Lake City or IMI ammunition. Again, anecdotal. I don't want to throw Timney under the bus. Two friends of mine use them for 3-gun and they love them. They can be super light with short take-up and reset, but I've always been 'meh' about Timney AR triggers. I think Geissele is the correct answer for a nicer trigger with uncompromised reliability. |
