Pooling cash for my current build, and I ran across something interesting. I WAS going to build a BCM gubbament profile upper into an A4 clone, but I stumbled upon these barreled uppers from SAA. Specs include an 18" Black Hole Weaponry barrel made from 416ss, MOE rifle length hand guards, rifle length gas system, and a nickel boron coated bcg for about $600. For that I could be hitting the range quicker than with the A4 build. It's not an uber-tacticool SAM-R or anything, but it looks like some fun. I have never really cared about the size of my groups, but there is a local outdoor range that wants to see you and your weapon shoot MOA at 100 yards before you can shoot further. I am building again because I had to sell my go-to carbine earlier this year and I want this one to take its place, so if anyone has any experience using a similar set up in any practical setting, be it 3gun or any weekend warrior classes, feel free to chime in.

That sucks about the moa part. Its not the easiest thing in the world to get an ar to do this chambered in 556. 4moa I could understand.

That barrel may do it though. The rest will be up to you.

I shot just under 1 inch with a friends bolt gun once. Guy had some night force glass that cost as much as my Honda, though. I like shooting steel at the farm better, but the farm is no more.
