Ok people I have a challenge for ya. I want to mount a ATN 8-24X75 scope on my flatop AR15. I just found out that the scope is way to long to mount to the flattop with 30MM rings, the scope hits the sigts on the barrel, only reason I'm using this huge of a scope. Where there's two reason's. One is I got it for nothing at all. and secondly I'm nuts. Any ideas, I don't think rasing an inch is going to do the job. anybody attempt such a feat? |

<spit> Violence Policy Center: the number one anti-gun organization; comprised of bug-eyed slack-jawed, poorly educated, impotent, fascist, wastes of human skin who need a fastball to the face and whose memberships only goal in life is pissing on the US Constitution. Just the sight or mention of guns is enough to send them into jerking spasms of moral outrage highlighted by bouts of incontinence, drooling, migraines, increased blood pressure, heavy perspiration, swelling in the throat with inability to swallow, heart palpitations and speaking in tongues. If by chance you ever encounter one of them and they are displaying any of the above symptoms,*DO NOT* attempt to render treatment on your own. Note their location and wait until properly trained waste disposal management teams or animal control officers arrive to take care of the problem. I hope that answers your question?

Rparr, Use a Precision Reflex flip up front sight, this will solve your probelm. probably a ARMS #38 super extended rail to puch the mount pass your handguards. Then again, sell the scope and buy something useful. that my friend is a honest suggestion. Good luck, |

you can find the scope on gunbroker.com "ATN 8x24x75 Lit Ret varmint scope Brand New 399.00" item # 6163104 The Scope works ok for me though its difficult to hold the gun after awhile espeically with the 4 pounds of extra weight. With a Bipod on the gun and being prone, it would be a great |
