The trajectory of an M855 round shot from an M16A2 is such that the round is at the same elevation at both the 36- and 300-yard lines.  This is why we were taught at boot camp to site in our rifles at 36 yards.  Does anyone know where I could find out different trajectories for different rifles, barrel lengths, round, rifling, etc?  Really, what would be great is if there was some type of trajectory calculator if such a thing exists and anyone knows where I could find one.  Thanks a bunch.

You might find ballistic tables for specific rounds at the manufacturers website. Have you read the Ammo Oracle?

Yeah, I read the oracle.  The only trajectory I found on there was for a M16 firing M855 and M193.

To be honest, it's not the exact thing I had in mind, but it's pretty damn cool and I appreciate it nonetheless.  Thanks!
