Did that fix your trigger pin issue? Any standard M4 or CAR stock is going to have some rattle. Tapco is Chinese junk, I wouldn't buy it. Rock River, Bushmaster, etc, use commercial-diameter stocks, while Stag/CMT, Colt, and some others use military-diameter stocks. The advantage of getting a military-diameter stock and buffer tube is that you have more options for aftermarket stocks later on if you want. Some people use a hair dryer to heat up a stock and then vise it to fit tighter on the tube. Others use moleskin/tape/etc to build up the tube diameter. It doesn't bother me, frankly, to have a bit of movement, on the rifles I have that use standard stocks. For the tightest lockup, get an aftermarket stock like an LMT, MagPul, VLTOR, CAA, etc. |
