Which is the most prefered trigger upgrade?

Of the  Geissele brand, which is more reliable the Super 3 Gun (S3G) Trigger or the Super Semi-Automatic Enhanced (SSA-E) Trigger?

One is single stage, one is two stage.
Geissele's are all built to the same high reliability standard.

Pick the type of characteristics you need.

Geisseles are two stage triggers.  Some mimic single stage triggers to a degree.

From Geissele's website for the S3G:
The Geissele Super 3 Gun (S3G) trigger is a semi-automatic-only derivative of the two-stage Super Select-Fire (SSF) combat trigger that Geissele Automatics produces for customers in the U.S. Special Operations Community. The S3G was developed to combine the SSF combat trigger’s match-grade semi-automatic performance with its smooth single-stage full-automatic feel to make a fast, smooth, and robust trigger ideal for 3 Gun competition shooting.

I think of the 3G as single, because it seems to act like a single.
You're correct, it is technically a two stage.

One caveat about the SSA...  The durability comes at a price.  It does not shoot as well competition oriented triggers in its price range (and below), I realize its hard to state that as fact but I feel very firmly.  My scores were higher my first time using an RRA two stage than using the SSA I have about 50 outings with.  If I had 2 rifles only one would have the SSA.

The design is a two-stage, but with reaaaaaallllly long first stage, and practically no second, and a really short reset.

All Geissele's are top-notch quality, so simply pick the one that most fits your needs.

I run SSA-E's on both of my AR's because I don't do a ton of rapid-fire shooting, and wanted a trigger that was more precision-oriented.

I'm gonna pick up an S3G for my future 300 Blackout SBR build though.

My high speed has been awesome.  I bought my brother an SSA for this BCM this christmas (because I'm a nice guy... and because I wanted to try it out).  I liked it as well and he has had no issues.  I think my next build is getting the S3G.
