| Looking at different Geissele Triggers and stuck between SD3G,SD-E, and SD-C. I'm pretty new to the trigger market and to AR's in general, from my small about of shooting a few friends rifles, i've found im looking for if its a 2 stage a definite wall not a surprise second stage brake, looking for a short/fast reset and also reliability. Will be used in a spikes tactical rifle ST-T2 buffer and Cryptic coatings BCG, was looking at an elftmann 3 gun for a while but the reports of people having light primer strikes bothered me so i opted to look more into Geissele. Any help is greatly appreciated. |

This is mainly a range rifle, but would also be a home defense rifle at the same time. I like the flat bow as opposed to the curved bow feel wise. I was recommended on another forum to look into a DMR. but i don't know if id be able to adjust the trigger to my liking myself rather kind of have something that is pretty much setup out of the package.
3gun is very fun but im not familiar with if i get a dedicated trigger for that purpose if it would possibly be an issue come time to protect my family. |

I run a Geissele SSA-E 2 stage, 1.2 lb second stage. That's as light as I ferl safe for combo general/precision shooting.
I recommend against that powder filled buffer, though. If you really, really, think you need an H-2, get a real one with separate weights inside. The recoil impulse design expects movement within the buffer. Don't overdo it with buffer weight. |
| I own several SDC and SDE. The SDE will be the only one I buy in the future. I was worried the SDE would be too light for defensive use. But the long take up on the trigger is more than enough of a safety buffer. The SDE just feels like a smoother better version of the SDC. |

SDE is looking very promising, SD3g I have this thought that it may be a little too touchy so to speak for the thought of home defense. In the video when he talked about fine motor skills degrading in a stressful situation it wasnt something i had thought about at all. I called them up to have a conversation with a Tech and monday morning im looking at purchasing an SDE as it seems like the best colution for me needs.
On another note, i havent heard anywhere til now that my ST-T2 buffer that came with my lower would be an issue because of the powder rather than the weights, i actually like that it doesnt clack around. guess i can do some more research into that. |

I too would like to see the scientific evidence of this. I have no idea where people are getting that from. It has nothing to do how the weights move. The tungsten power in a spikes buffer also shift in there. |
