Im building a lower having an issue with my trigger pin. It went in hard and the trigger is hard to move and is not resetting after being pulled. I noticed that the pin rotates when looking at the side of the lower when the trigger is pulled. Is the trigger assembly spouse move/rotate freely on the pin? I pulled the pin and removed the trigger and tried to put the pin into the trigger assembly outside of the gun and took some force to get the pin into the trigger.

Does the otherwise fit the same?
How do they fit in the hammer?
How do they fit in the disconnector without the trigger?

Trigger pin rotation is normal. But the tight fit you describe is not. Try lots of lube, or another pin. You can also polish the current pin and that may give you the extra clearances you need for good fit.

You have burs on the side of C channels for the trigger.  Use a file and remove the burs.

The trigger has to freely rotate on the pin when dry fit to it outside of the rifle.

This was the problem. I removed burs from the C channel and everything is working the way I though it should be.
