Just installed new disco spring in the trigger and during function testing . The disconnector would catch the hammer and not let go. Whats wrong?

Too much disco engagement. Trigger release is not rotating the disco hook back far enough to release the hammer. Is the disco an old one from the another rifle? Someone might have ground off the front edge of the disco allowing it to be too far forward.

Spring in correctly? There's a big end and a little end. Big end goes down into the trigger.

I have had a few LPK's that needed some massaging of the hook on the disconector......
I take a small file and take a few swipes then fit it till it drops the hammer consistently......
