Hey guys.

I finally decided on an optic for my newest AR set up.  Ended up going with a Trijicon Accupoint TR24R, 1-4 red triangle reticle.  I was hesitant on these at first due to reviews on them not illuminating very bright in low light conditions.  Well that is the case, but having the etched reticle makes it somewhat of a non issue for me, since I can light up my target and still see the reticle fine, even if it just looks black.

Say, I just have one question to appease my OCD, which is majorly bad when it comes to my guns and equipment.

In the reticle, well actually below the reticle, between the two black vertical lines that feed into the triangle, I thought I saw some debris or something in there.  However upon closer observation, it seems to me what I am seeing is tiny little "bubbles".  Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm hoping you guys will tell me, "NORMAL",  my guess is that space between the black lines is the actual fiber optic feeding into the reticle to illuminate it.  And what I am seeing are just some little air bubbles in that fiber optic "tube".  It doesn't seem to effect the way it illuminates, just something that I can see there a bit.

EDIT********** Trijicon had quite friendly CS, called them direct for a very nice explanation of this issue.  And it is normal, so therefore a non-issue.  The CS experience made me feel even better about the purchase.

I tried to get a pic, but my camera cant quite capture it.  Only visible when viewing through the objective.  With a very bright background you can see some small bubbles just below the reticle in the space between the two black lines.

I know hard to tell without pics.  it's just extremely hard to photograph it, and get the camera to focus where I want it to.

Well Trijicon says normal.  What I'm seeing is a cover over the actual fiber.  That cover has wiggle room in the slot that it fits in, so the "bubbles" are just space between the cover and the slot it rides in.  If that cover wasn't in there I'd see the red fiber going up instead.
