Hello all, does anyone know:

1.) why are the 3.5x35 models so much longer than the 3x30 and even the 4x32's? they are 2-3" longer than the others? I thought the 3.5x35 would be a great compromise for short to mid range use but it's even longer than a 4x32

2.) trijicon shows the field of view on a 3x24 to be 25.6" and a 3x30 to be only 19.30". This doesn't make sense to me, if you have the same magnification, and a LARGER objective, why is it a smaller field of view?

I think the FOV question has something to do with their "BAC", or both eyes open feature, but not sure. Anyone know if the ACOG's in 3X, 3.5X, and 4X, utilize this feature?

Thanks for any feedback.

They are not the same model with different magnifications,
but different generations. so to speak.
The 4x was first
then the 3.5x and the 3x was last.

FOV has nothing to do with BAC.
