I'm in the process of my next build, and I was wondering. To all the Trijicon ACOG owners and to though's who have used the scope, I have a question. Can you see the front iron sights through the view of the scope, and does it inter fear? The scope is going on a A3 Flat top LMT upper. I used a picture off this forum to help explain. Thanks

The scope isnt focused at six inches.  You look right through the front site tower.  You can barely notice it.
Don't forget there are a million rifles out there set up like this.  If it was a problem people would'nt be doing it.

a slight blur of it at most only if you really look for it.

I have an ACOG on my AR connected through an ARMS 19S quick disconnect mount. I could see the FSB in the scope, and it bothered me when I was shooting.  I purchased an ARMS Swan Sleeve (#38 standard) to raise the scope a little higher. This combination seems to work great for me. BTW--the Swan Sleeve has a built-in back up iron sight on it that neatly tucks under the ACOG. Really nice setup.

Good luck.

Don't look for the front sight and you won't see it.

I've had Trijs on flattops for a few years with fixed and folding front sights, and it really isn't noticeable after a while.  There is a slight shadow in the lower half of the view, but it doesn't interfere with shooting or observation.
