My wife got me a Trijicon SRS for my birthday, which was totally awesome, but it does suffer from internal reflections in certain lighting conditions.
I knew about that going in, but I cannot tell if it has been "fixed" by Trijicon, and even though they gave a manufacture date of 9/25/13, they could not tell me whether the new lens coating or whatever has been applied. When a bright light is above the sight by about a 45 degree angle, I see both a circuit board and a rectangle blurring out the dot. My understanding per the Bang Switch (http://www.thebangswitch.com/trijicon-srs-follow-up/) is that the rectangle is pre-fix, and the circuit board issue is post-fix - I haven't heard of anyone having both. I tried to take pics, but they turned out crappy. Anyone have any idea if this is the updated version? I hate to send this in and wait 6 weeks for them to tell me it has already been "fixed." And I also know a kill flash should fix the problem. Just wanting to know where I stand before I decide what to do. Thanks! |
