I have a standard Trijicon TA01 scope that I have been using on my standard M4 removeable handle. I recently picked up a scope mount base that goes to a TA01NSN scope. Can you put a TA01 scope on a TA01NSN scope base? The standard removable handle on the M4 is much higher off the rifle than the TA01NSN base.

Sure, you got the TA51 mount which will work with all M16 base ACOGs. I did just what you are planning to do and it worked fine.

Great!!! Thanks for your help. I didn't want to pull the scope off my M4 handle and put it on the TA01NSN base only to find that there was not enough elevation adjustment.

You will have to rezero of course, but I am sure you knew that. That being said, there will be plenty of room for adjustment. Did your mount come with screws? If not "I think" you can just use the screw that fastens the TAO1 to your carry handle. Just remove the little piece that fits into the bottom side of the carry handle and use the screw without it.
