Anyone have any info on when Trijicon is going to start building the new generation of tri-powers? I spoke with a rep awhile ago, he said the current tri-power is not in production anymore but they are taking orders on "Gen 2' tri-powers  that hopefully have all the disadvantages worked out.
I'm thinking of buying a few Comp M3's, but would like to wait on 1 if tri-power is going to back in commission soon for a new build I am doing or possibly even another carbine I already own.
How about some IMO's on tri-powers from any current owners.

I was told fall 2005. So look for it in spring 2006.

Don't get me started on the model that is out now. I would run away fast if I was you.

I know, the current model is definetely not worth the mateial it was made from, I hope the new one is far better. I have 3 ACOG's but want something with unlimited eyey relief.

I sold my tripower after about 4 days.

IF, and i mean IF...they can keep the good (reticle) and get rid of the bad(all the rest) it might be a winner.

When you're talking highend 1x red dot style optics the only choices are EOTech or Aimpoint.
