I just bought a UTG tactical flashlight for $130 including tax. My problem is the velcro sticky strip included for the touchpad will not stick to my K-grip worth a damn. UTG rails, K-grip and Light. Any suggestions/advice to get a good seal on the velcro anchored on the K-grip?

Clean the mating parts with denatured alcohol to allow the Velcro adhesive to bond to such area's.

I am new to ARs, can you please explain exactly what I would do with a bicycle inner tube? Thanks...

Think of it as a large rubber band. Cut to size, slide over the grip. Holds the tape switch in place and is easily replaced if damaged.

The inner tube holds the switch in place.

When I ran a v-grip mounted press sw I mounted it with a section of inner tube.

- Stretch the inner tube over the grip.
- Roll the inner tube back down towards the end of the grip.
- Place the press sw in position on the grip.
- Roll the inner tube back up over the switch.

ETA: Here’s a picture of my v-grip with the inner tube in place. I don’t have any pics of the grip with press sw in place since my old PC took a dump and I lost years of pictures.
