I recently put a Troy Claymore on my 7.62 pistol to lower the concussion and the noise.  It works well for that purpose, but i am getting some muzzle jump.  I was thinking about drilling one or two small port holes on the top of the comp to try to offset this but dont know if it will work, or negate the linear design of it.  Any suggestions or experience with these?  Here she is

Take it off, sell it.  Buy one that works

I've considered this as well.

The griffin linear comp has a few... Haven't heard much feedback on it.

The  KAC mams supposedly acts like a linear comp and a standard comp at the same time... Not quite sure how they do that based on the design but all reports I've seen say its amazing.  Too bad it's retarded expensive.

I believe the holes on the KAC are at an angle.

There is a linear comp called the Simple Threaded device which is pretty inexpensive... Would be a good route for experiments.

Please update with results !

The griffin design is exactly what I was imagining so I guess it has some chance of working.  I have a drill press and cutting oil, but hopefully its not too big of a PITA, thanks for the warning.  Will prob give it a shot and will let y'all know if it works.  Thanks again guys!
