I've got a barrel that had a standard FSB on it. I removed the FSB (the sucker was TIGHT) and now I am installing a low-profile Troy gas block. This guy does not want to go on.. I've been tapping on it and it seems like it's stuck. Is this normal? :0

A small amount of sanding is sometimes required.  Alternative to that, you can use a little science. Place the barrel/upper in the freezer for a few hours, and warm up the Troy, she should fall right on,

Yep,, once I read the other thread, I felt better about using my Dremel attachment :0 It took about 30 seconds to shave a bit of material off and squeeze it on. Still a very tight fit, but no hammer required.
