Does any one make an end cap that would fit a Troy rail? I'm looking for something similair to the end cap that YHM makes for their rail. Would the YHM cap fit a Troy? Anyone ever used one?? Just wanted a way to limit how far the rail would bend if dropped hard. Tell me if I'm wrong, but, it seems to me that if the rife were to hit hard on the forward end of a free float type rail, the leverage could damage the barrel nut or receiver. Does this make since?

I've never heard of any rifles being damaged that way, and if a rifle did get slammed that hard then I doubt the YHM end cap is strong enough to prevent the damage from occuring.

I also see no way that it could be attached to the Troy rails.  The inside diameter of the YHM rails is -much- larger.

What you seek is not made, and is not needed.

Thanks for the replys! You are probably right - I was worried about a problem that does not exist! Those rails are pretty tough! Thanks!

The barrel will flex first...
