I just recieved my S&W 15T today and I'm wondering how the hell you put the 3 piece hand guards on? Do I start from the top and slip down the guard or can I snap the guards in place where I want them? (Or do you guys just leave them off) Sorry for the stupid Question.... Bri |
having tried most of the options available, I use "ladder" style protectors. |
Are you lifting up on the tab while you're sliding them? Those covers are great, keep them. IMO while they do look cool all the ladders do is keep the rails from getting dinged on the edges, they do not buffer the heat at all. |

I put the Magpul covers on my Troy Rails they were a little tight to begin but once you have them started.... if you can load a magazine you can put these on too. www.magpul.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=76&products_id=206 |
All the initial articles and press info on the M&P showed it with TANGO panels, but the actual production models shipped had the YHM type panels. I work in a gun store, and we're selling them as quick as we can get them, but I've yet to see one come with the TANGOs like advertised...I e-mailed S&W but received zero response. I purchased the first M&P Tactical that came in, and I absolutely love it...it's a fantastic rifle. I did prompty ditch the cheezey panels and install TANGOs!![]()
